Bog Hair-grass
Deschampsia setacea
They’re found in bogs
and peaty pools:
dense tufts,
their leaves hair-like,
purple and pale yellow
spikelets,
the bent awn brown
and twisted.
They have no value
as pasture:
plants becoming rare
as the wild blue hare.
